  update: found out the sexes yesterday! 2 girls and 1 boy. We are so excited, and it makes it so much more real now! I can't believe that I am lucky enough to have made it to 18 weeks with no problems

  QOTD: nope! I'm not supposed to spend a lot of time on my feet, so I'll be parked on the couch at home and probably playing around with my registries. I do need to figure out my Christmas shopping though...

  QOTD: I've never been a Black Friday shopper. I did by some cloth diapers a couple days ago at Cottonbabies online under their Black Friday Sale.  But I have no plans to brave the crowds.

  Growth u/s yesterday went well.  Baby A is 4 lbs. 5 oz. and Baby B is 4 lbs. 6 oz.  I can't believe they'll be here in just a little over a month!!

  I'm not sure if I'll do any shopping on Black Friday.  If I do, it would almost certainly be online.  I think we're going to be getting our Christmas tree, etc. that day though.

  I am up early it is only 530 here. I have not been able to sleep very well. I have been having a couple of rough days. I am very uncomfortable. I hate to complain since I am only 24 weeks but this week has been hard. I just feel uncomfortable. I cannot sleep  so after a full day at work I am useless. I am trying to stay positive but I know that I have so much more baking time I just worry how I am going to be able to do it. I am 4'11' and very short torso. Baby B's head or butt is in my lungs already and I think my uterus starts at my boobs so at times it looks like I have three boobs and I cant breathe!

   Sorry about complaining. I know that you all have been there and will understand. My husband is trying sympathetic but I dont think anyone really understands. Thanks for listening to my pitty party!

   

  QOTD: I probably wont be out at 5am but I plan on seeing what is on sale and going from there. If there is something that I really want I wont hesitate to go out and get it!

  No updates this week

  qotd: I havent decided if I'm going out on Friday.  There is a childrens consignment sale that Ive already been to, but everything is 1/2 off this weekend so I might try that.  The inlaws have invited me to an all day affair including shopping and a movie, and it sounds tempting, but I'm afraid my back will be killing me and I wont be able to leave.  Im guessing I wont know until Friday

  QOTD:  I will not be shopping on Friday...unless I get bored and go online from work.  I am trying to hold off on buying baby stuff...my showers will be after Xmas and I figure I need to save my money.

  Update: We found out it's GIRLS this week, DH and I are both still in shock because we were sure there was at least one boy in there! The anatomy scan went perfect and both girls weighed 7oz measuring 17w6d and 17w3d (I was 17w5d) so it couldn't have went better! The only thing was that I have somewhat of a low-lying placenta and am now on pelvic rest until they reevaluate in a month.

  QOTD: We are going to Minneapolis for T-day and I'm hoping to hit up Ikea!!! I know I'll need to sit down a couple of times- I get soooo winded.

  Updates:  Nothing really new for me, here.  My weight gain seems to have hit a plateau, which is surprising.  I'm up 25lbs in total, but not much in the last week or so. 

  QOTD: Probably going to avoid shopping.  Too many people!!  I'm not a big fan of crowds.  Plus, we've already done most of our Holiday shopping and we're not buying much for the babies until after my showers next month.

  I would LOVE to shop Friday but right now $ is really tight since I am doing an internship and not working as much...

   

  My DH is planning on going maybe to look for DS a christmas gift. I may hit up Carters 50% sale Fri at midnight...

  Again, it just depends on how $ looks!

  Had an OB appt today.  Nothing exciting.  I saw a different OB than I usually do (we have 5 in the practice) and she was very hopeful for a v-bac  (YAY)  even though she thinks that baby B has now turned breech.  The OB also did a fundal height and I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead.
  

  I'm up 15 pounds total from my first appt, passed my glucose test, got my H1N1 shot finally and am feeling surprisingly well, so thats good too.

   

       *Today's Question*
  Are you shopping on Black Friday? If so, what are you wanting to get? Buying anything for babies?

  So far I plan to.  I'd like to hit Rite Aid first (on Thursday) for the 2 for $4 huggies wipes.  Then Friday around 5am, I'd like to try for Toys R Us for the Fisher Price diaper deal and the TRU brand wipes, and then some toys for my 2 1/2 year old.  Then I'll swing by Target if I'm still feeling up to it, and then K-Mart on the way home for a few little things.

  I'm starting to have trouble sleeping. My DH and I will be getting a recliner this weekend. I can't get one of my glucose numbers down with just the diet, so I may have to start GD meds. All in all though, I'm so grateful to have made this far without problems.

  QOTD: I wish I could! I love shopping on Black Friday. My DH has to work and I know bringing my 2yo with me would be a disaster! We'll be staying home.

  Update saw Peri, saw my little ones again, yay   It is so reassuring to see those little hearts beating away.  Baby A was 148 and Baby B was 157.  Baby A put up its little hand and waved, it actually looked like it was waving, I was so sad DH was unable to be there.  Baby B flipped around, a little acrobat, it is amazing how they appear to have little personalities already.  They also checked amniotic fluid levels which were good.  And they measured me, well I talked them into it, they said measuring me is somewhat pointless since it is not a good judge like it is with a singleton.  But I am measuring about 20 weeks, wow!  My next appointment is in two weeks for the amnio, I am really scared about that, and then our big anatomy u/s is on December 22.  They also said they do a special u/s or test to look at their hearts between 20-24 weeks, they said this is the norm for multiples.  Also they said the babies will be born at the latest the first week in May, week 38, but often they are born between 35-36 weeks so be ready then too.  So that is the latest. 

   QOTD:  I think after all of the cooking for Thanksgiving I will just collapse Friday.

  Update: we found out yesterday that one of my girls has flipped breech. I was pretty sure I felt her do it that morning. My blood pressure is still up, and I now have to go to L&D over the weekend for a BP check, preclampsia blood work check, and an extra non stress test. If I don't go into labor on my own and Baby B is still breech at next wednesdays OB, visit we'll be going in for a C section at the end of next week. (If BP doesn't chill out it may be even sooner)

  QOTD: No way am I doing any Black Friday shopping, I am almost done x-ma shopping anyhow thanks to modified bed rest.
