Trying to Get Pregnant

Sore breasts, spirits are down

I have had sore breasts for the past 2 months.  We have been TTC for 8 months, going on 9 now and these are the first times my breasts have hurt this bad.  I got my hopes up last month and they were beaten down by AF.  My DH and I are celebrating our one year anniversary on December 6.  AF should be arriving a few days before this.  I'm hoping she doesn't show so I can test on our anniversary (if I can wait that long!).  Wouldn't that be an awesome anniversary gift!?  It's so hard to wait all this time though.  I have this same problem every month and every month it hurts when AF comes.  I'm trying to keep a positive attitude about things, but it is very hard now around the holidays because I see all my family and friends with their pregnant bellies and their kids.  Any ideas how to keep my spirits up?

  • I know how you feel.  After 15 months, I've learned that just about every sign can lead to a BFN.  That being said, are you charting your temp?  That can be a huge help in getting your timing right (plus it is the only way to know when you ovulated).  Won't do much to keep your spirits up, but at least then you will know exactly what your chances are.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

  • I haven't charted yet, but plan to start this month when and if AF comes.  I've been reading everyone else's posts on here and figured out I need to be doing this.  That is my next step if AF comes.  I think it will help month to month.  Thanks for the suggestion.
  • I am sorry you are feeling down.  Happy almost anniversary, ours is in December too!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for your BFP, if it doesn't happen this cycle I recommend charting, it really helps you to understand your body!

This is my 1st cycle charting and I already feel more in control of the situation.  Not that this is what is going to make it happen, just that I now know I am doing ALL I can.

You should buy the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility https://tinyurl.com/yg28gmr and check out the tutorials on fertilityfriend.com.

    Good luck.
