Is anyone else in utter disbelief? I am not going to get into details, but the Toronto Humane Society has been raided by the OSPCA and the top 5 execs have been arrested and charged with cruelty to animals. I hope these jerks get what they deserve.

Our Friday the 13th miracle!
DH accidentially locked our one cat, Tiko, in the laundry room (where their food is) over night. The door shut behind him and he didn't know Tiko was in there! He feels horrible today! And I feel bad, because T was a resue from the London Humane Society where I volunteer.
I was sitting at my mechanic's when i saw this on CP24 this morning. I started bawling in his office. I cannot handle hearing about bad things happening to animals (slightly unstable lol). Seriously, these people are sick! I am so glad I have never given them any money and feel bad for the people who now feel guilt because they have.

I'm having a hard time believing the charges. We got our cat from THS and I didn't see anything there that wasn't normal for a shelter. Sure there were lots of cats, but every cat had its own cage with wet and dry food and water and a litter box. The occasional cat shared a larger cage with another cat but that was because they were a bonded pair. I hope the charges aren't true, and if they are, they get what they deserve.

This is horrible - those people are horrible.
