JAWMIN or bloggers who post LARGE pics

How do you make them that big? I have already selected the "large" size when I upload them but I have seen lots of blogs with them much bigger? TIA!!!

Re: JAWMIN or bloggers who post LARGE pics

  • you can do it two ways...

    1. flicker, shutterfly, or photobocket (flicker is best for quality, IMO) and use the html.

or what I do now(figured it out a week or two ago)

    2. upload the picture large and adjust the html. I'll try and find an example html to show you. i like to do it this way because if you click on the picture it will open a new window with the bigger picture.

  • Loading the player...
  • I never post really large ones but i am pretty sure you can do so by using tinypic.com and selecting the 800x600 option under sizing. Then when you go to upload the pictures into your  blog you use the URL instead of browsing from your computer. This is how i made my own Header and it was HUGE.. it worked great. GL

Thanks! I am using these dimensions and editing the blogger html. I hate using tinypic because my family members like to be able to click on the images and see the full size file so they can save in and print it clearer!

This way is faster, but the blogger way allows you to make them bigger. I'm writting a post right now on how to do it the blogger way.

Thank you!!! Sorry if you get asked this a lot!

Not a lot. It's ask a couple times on the photo board, so  I figured I'd write it in the blog instead of here this time.

It was a PITA to get the html to show in the post though.

  • I'll also add here. I'm not sure what the last number "s400" is for. I think pixles or something because I've tried not changing it and the quality was really bad. If you do s800 or s1600, you should be good.
