I get a big fat FAIL as a mom today

DD fell down the steps at my moms house. Nothing is broken and she is no worse for wear but I feel like a real @ss. It could have been worse (like at our house and she would have landed on tile and gone down more steps) but it was still horrible to see and then hear her cry.

I'm so sorry! You're not a big fat fail. Little ones move quickly and they are attracted to stairs. I also want to tell you it's happened more than once at my house - 3 times total with my second. Yes, call CPS now. I'm always thankful our stairs are carpeted.

awww, poor A! Definitely not a fail! It happens!

I can't tell you the amount of times my clumsy kids have fallen off/down things. lol Even when I'm right there in front of them... It happens so fast!

I know it's so hard when this happens. DD climbed the stairs at 6 months and fell down. I felt like the worst mother ever. It's awful, but it happens and they survive and thrive. Tomorrow will be a better day. Take care!

Just another voice to pipe in and say that if you're a fail, I have been too! Yep, happened to my girls before and they have survived none the worse for wear.
