Hi all, I just wanted to share, I'm home from today's NT scan & we got pretty good results this time around. It's been a very nervous time for us, because this year w/previous preg. we got 1 in 5 chance of a problem & lost the baby to Trisomy 18 at 13 weeks.
Today is a different story, 1 in 310 chance for Downs, 1 in 15,000 chance for Trisomy. So it looks like I'm headed into 2nd trimester with pretty good numbers for a 39 year old mom & 41 year old DH. What a relief. There's more bloodwork at 15 weeks & based on that we'll decide about whether we're doing amnio (probably will).
So tonight we're finally telling our parents about the pregnancy & I'm pretty happy & feeling very thankful.
