feeling sad
i am feeling incredibly sad for my DD. she is going to be bouncing around for all the holidays now. i hate it. i will have her christmas eve then her dad will have her christmas day. we are splitting thanksgiving. it just doesn't seem fair to her. i am so upset right now. i just wish my marriage would have worked out for her sake. i never in my life would have imagined id be a single mom.

My daughter loves it.
She is guarenteed to see both sides of her family every holiday, she gets gifts at both houses, we made our own traditions, etc.
Your daughter is young and will grow up knowing only this way of celebrating holidays.
Remember, it's better to have 2 parents apart and happy, than 2 parents together and miserable.
