    Aw. It was great! Nearly 3 years now. Crazy.

    I do think it is a myth. At daycare there is a dog and I guess one day my babysitter said "oh no bad boy!" and that was that. Josephine has been calling everyone a bad boy now. So when I tell her she cannot have pretzels for dinner she furrows her brow and says "BAD BOY MOMMY!" We both just crack up. Because we don't call her bad and neither does the sitter. But she caught on and everyone is a bad boy. Even her lovey.

    Sigh.

    That's so funny. Kids really pick up on that kind of thing. You have to be so careful about what you say. I need to start censoring myself, I'm constantly calling M stink-bottom and telling him he smells lol.

    OH yes! Its amazing how much they copy you. I mostly have to watch myself in the car. That's when you yell "CRAP!" and you here "oh crap! heheheheeheh" from the backseat.

    Ahh I was lanie26. Still am. But then had it deactivated so I could get off here and focus on my thesis.

    Then i was emailed about ketamarie's loss so came back for a day or so and will be leaving once again until its done. I'm hoping to have it wrapped up in the early new year.

    Mother mania in victorian and early 20th century Canadian history Its all about the history of post partum depression, institutionalization and gendered treatments involved in 'curing' women etc...

    its neat, but a lot of work and lots of archival research.
