D&C today

Thank you all for your kind words today. Luckily I was able to get in for a D&C immediately. I was supposed to be 17.5 weeks, but I had a missed miscarriage about 13.5-14 weeks. We've had the worst day of our lives, but I'm hopeful that time will heal things. It was just so devastating to go for what we thought was our "big ultrasound" and see the immediate look of concern on the techs face. Our joyous day turned out to be a horrid nightmare. I hate that you girls will be my new friends, but I'm so glad to have this support system. It's hard to take the comments from everyone who doesn't know what to say.

Court, I'm so sorry we're friends too! I can only imagine how devastating your day turned out to be. I'm sending you strength and hugs and hope you've got a good support system. Missed miscarriages are so cruel. I hate the fact that my body "betrayed" me into thinking I was pregnant for almost 5 weeks.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish that ppl either knew to just say sorry and offer a hug. Some comments are just too much to bear at times.

So sorry for your loss. Same thing happened to us yesterday. Big U/S turned into the biggest bust. This sucks!

I think she was referring to my comment about others in my life who don't know what to say. Thank you for your kind words & support. I have an amazing family who is very supportive, but it's nice to have a group of women who really know what it's like.

I am glad you were able to get in quickly. I was glad to have my D&E the day after we found out and just be done with it. I am very sorry for your loss.{{Hugs}}
