Bleeding after internal?(possible TMI)

I had my first internal today. I just went to the bathroom and saw some dark blood on my panties, and when I wiped. I think I've read from some ladies on here that it's normal to bleed a little bit? I'm just trying to be 100% sure. Otherwise I'm going to need to give my dr a call! Is it normal? TIA!

I was just in to L&D for monitoring due to some very light spotting, and the dr did an internal while I was there and warned me that the exam itself could cause a little spotting, so not to worry.

Yes, I had the same thing. Dr. warned me that this may happen for a day or two after the internal.

I bled after my first internal with dd, too. Normal as long as it stops right away.

My 1st one I spoted a little. This last one she made me bleed like a stuck pig! I had to wear a giant pad! She said it was normal and that it may make me progress a little more! Mine was bright red but she said it would turn dark by the next day! Sorry if TMI
