on a happy note- help me shop!

After months and months of waiting, we finally got the letter that we are getting the 8k housing credit for purchasing our house! DH and I agreed that we could take some of the money to buy something fun for ourselves, before we throw the rest in the bank.

Soo.... what should I buy? I'm going to try to petition that Em should get a portion of the money spent on her as well so that I get double to spend! 

I just bought an Ergo and I have a ring sling... I would like a diaper bag better suited to CDs. And maybe some more diapers for Em... right now we have mostly boring ones. 

(and Em should totally get a portion of the money for her, right? A person's a person, no matter how small....)

    I vote for a fancy high chair.  Think of how cute it will look on christmas morning!  With a giant bow!  And some minky diapers. 

    And yes, em is a person and therefore has the same shopping rights as you. :)

    oooh I like the high chair idea! I don't want a big giant plastic one, I want a wooden one that matches our house and can pull up to the table.

    Yes!  like the Svan (DH's pick) or the Anka (my pick) or the Tripp Trapp (doesn't have a tray so its out of the running at our house, except its gorgeous!).  You should get the Tripp Trapp so I can live vicariously through you and your trayless ways.
