This. Also, I just want a baby. I don't care if it is a boy or a girl.

"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." --Thomas A. Edison
I dont know if it works or not...as others have said, I just want a baby. I know woman who have sex on O day and conceive a girl, so who knows.
I think it was Heidi Klum that said she believes in it because when she got pregnant and found out she was having a girl, she looked back at her calander and realized her O date and sex with her husband were far apart so she said she belives in it.
Who really knows.

That's what I figured... it advocates waiting and only having sex once while you are ovulating...
It reminds me of that chart that factors your age and month you get pregnant to determine the gender.
What a waste of time.
I read the book and I think it's interesting but it's already hard enough to time things accurately so I'm really just wanting to get KU, with either gender.
I find it interesting, but I'm not willing to wait until "O" day to BD, even though I would love to have a boy first.
Not sure I believe it anyway. I bet there are many people who could give testimonies against it.
This x100. We've had sex once in our fertile window, we've had sex 3-4 times in our fertile window with no success at all. I will be having any and all sex and hope that something sticks without ever giving a second thought to the gender.
Yeah, I'll admit it--I used to have a preference. But now it drives me crazy when people refer to the big u/s as a "gender scan."
Guess what? It's an anatomy scan--they are looking at much more than your baby's junk. And after they count each of those organs and you thank jeebus for them, then the gender part is the icing on the cake.
I swear to god next time we get pregnant if anyone asks me if we have a gender preference, I will reply with, "I want a baby with kidneys."
I think it's an interesting concept and it makes sense--I just don't know how accurate it is.
For our second baby we really want a boy (we're planning to only have two) so we'll be trying it. If it takes longer to get pregnant that's okay with us. DH knows it's definitely a possibility that we'll end up with two girls, but he'd be really bummed if it happened. I don't mind giving it a try for him.
We'd also do it the second time around if we were having a boy first--I really wanted at least one girl.

Not upset in the slightest--just offering a reality check.
I'm not religious, but I think all of this stuff--gender, birth defects, etc is just completely out of our hands. I just give up on the idea of having any sort of control over things because control is just an illusion.
I think it works...
50% of the time.
To Get A Boy (According to Shettles):
I have a girl ::cue sarcasm:: obviously this works
Who does this? Isn't everyone just happy to get KU?
