  It's no wonder they have crazy names, half of those parents do too!! LOL

  I actually think some of this are pretty cute. But I love unusual and unique names. I think Nicole Richies kids have the cutest names. I LOVE Harlow Winter Kate, IMO it's a beatiful name. I think Bandit Lee is a cute name for a boy. Since I heard it Lou has actually grown on me for a girl though I wouldn't name my daughter that. Some of these names on the list are a bit out there even for me.

  Some of those are rough, but I think the authors have pretty a narrow view on what constitutes unusual. For example #10... Gunnar is in the top 1000 on the Social Security list. And like pp said...Stella is hardly unusual, maybe the mn Luna makes it sound a bit hippie-ish, but still not unusual.

  Ugh, DH wanted to name DS2 "Mars" so #1 brings back memories of a heated and prolonged argument in our house which consisted of me saying things like "Really? Mars? Really?! Why not Jupiter? Or Saturn? Oh, I know! Orion! We could name him Mars Orion Uranus!"

  I really like Draevyn, but I don't like the way it's spelled and I don't like Kingslee.  I like it spelled Draven.

  I'm rather surprised that they see Gunnar as an unusual name.  It's actually a very common name in Sweden.   It's also our chosen boy name.

  My personal favorite is Petal Blossom Rainbow! lol  But I agree, so really aren't that bad.  Just thought a few were amusing.

  Many of them sound like they are probably more common in other cultures, especially when you look at the last names that go well with them.  Not to say there aren't a few odd ones in there, but I'm going to bet that in other places in the world, some of these names are much more common.
