So, my doc came in this morning and took out my catheter. This was a huge development.the drugs that they had me on had to be closely monitored and this equalled NO getting up. I am also getting a cap on my IV, which means I can get up more easily when needed. The doc also mentioned the possibility of monitoring the baby at home, but wants to play it by ear. Regardless, this is far more hopeful than the previous outlook of "you'll be here until you give birth". So, as of right now, I'm not going anywhere, but there is hope for later this/next week!
