When you were in labor....

or about to go into it labor did you have any signs besides the normal water breaking or contractions? Anything that you look back at now and say duh that should have been a sign to me!

We have had a really rough 2 weeks with bed rest and a million doc. appointments to see when they will take LO because of my BP.

My family is convinced that becasue I have been having cramps for for 4 days and some pretty bad contractions that LO is right around the corner. I didnt agree with this until I woke up this morning feeling horriable!!!! I have diariah for the 2nd day in a row (i have literally only had hiariah 2 times in my whole life) and the urge to throw up. Any idea whats going on. DH volunteered us to do Thanksgiving 4 days ago!! and im kinda hoping my water breaks right in the middle of dinner lol... they all know im on bed rest but still insist on coming!!!

    They actually broke my water at the hospital.  My contractions were timeable and kept getting stronger and closer together.

    sounds like your body is doing that pre-baby cleanse. its rumored that a women's body will clean itself out..ie, vomiting & diarriah..shortly before the baby comes.

    I didn't have any signs other than the contractions. But, it sounds like what you are experiencing might be labor signs. GL!

    I woke up throwing up that morning, and my water broke around 2pm.

    I started having a lot more discharge than normal (clear). Also, I contracted for two days before my water broke by itself at the hospital. My contractions were sporadic but painful and I knew if I went in, they would send me home. I waited for two days until they were about 7-5 minutes apart all the time before I went in and they still almost sent me home bc I was still 1 cm.

    This was my first baby and I had him 2 weeks early.  My water broke... A couple of days before I had diarreha and vomiting in the middle of the night, I thought I just had food poisoning or something, but the doctor said it was just my body's way of cleansing itself before the baby came...maybe that's what's happening to you.  Good Luck!
