Since there has been a lot of talk about dog foods this morning, I am posting this link.  (And no I still don't know how to make things clicky, if anyone wants to post how so I know for future reference!)

This site analyzes most dog foods and ranks them.

    It's scary how bad Science Diet and Hills food in general is and how many people feed it because VETS recommend it. The review they give it is embarrassing and shameful. Same with Iams.

    The vet I used to work for and the one I take my animals to now both recommend it.  Blows my mind.  I used to feed it because my vet recommended it so highly and I assumed he knew what he was talking about.

    And then I learned the truth.

    Vets like Dr.'s often recommend a food/drug that they get the best kickback/deal from sales reps. Sad but true.

    Vets, like Dr's. are also human and make mistakes, bad decisions etc. I recommend second opinions and your own research ALWAYS.
