TTC After a Loss

Clicky poll (Jell-O Fluff mentioned)

Long story short DH and I were going to skip Thanksgiving and have our own dinner alone this year.  His granny guilted us into coming to the family gathering.  MIL asked me to bring Jell-O fluff.  1) I find this insulting as I am the queen of baking 2) Jell-O Fluff is gross!

  • Do NOT judge me but I'm actually watching the clock to wait till I can call my mom on the west coast and ask her how to make this!!!!

It's more nostalga (sp?) than anything. My grandmother died this winter and she always made her "Pistacio salad" (and insisted this was a legit. SALAD). This is my first thanks giving without her, my dad will be with us for dinner and I want to make that for him.

Seriously, pistachio pudding, coolwhip, marshmallows, mand. oranges and crushed pineapple... what's not to love? And BONUS - no chewing... just sludgy goodness!

No judging, but I still think it's nasty.  Sweet of you to remember your grandma in this way.  It's not hard to make - pretty much just dump it all in a bowl and mix.  I haven't seen it with the mandarin oranges, just the pineapples.
