What are your plans for TG?

We had hoped to have family up here, but after much going back and forth, they decided not to come, so it will be another pretty quiet Thanksgiving for us.  Having over one friend for the big meal, and well, that's about it.  Hopefully it will be a very relaxing weekend. 

How about you - what are your plans for Thanksgiving?

    Ours will be quiet as well.  It will just be DH, DS, and I.  We know we're having mashed potatoes for dinner and bacon for breakfast but not sure what else!

    My parents are spending the day with my grandparents and it's a 3 hour drive each way so we decided to just do that Christmas rather than both holidays - too much for DS!

    Honestly I'm happy to have a quiet day with my family.

    It will be just us. 

    Two weeks ago we traveled to be with my family, and we all did a big Thanksgiving dinner and a few days later let the kids open their Christmas presents.  We just combined both holidays into a long weekend that airfares and travel were easier for everyone.

    we go to my grandmother's house and it's a huge deal.  with just family it's 18 people and then we often have family friends that had no where else to go (or chose us over their family!)

    we are going to DH's cousin house.. she sent out an email to everyone going (about 12 people) and said "I am making the turkey, please reply to all and tell me what you are bringing"

    so we are bringing buffalo chicken dip, praline topped sweet potatoes, a tray of cookies, and vanilla bean ice cream for the pies!

    We're having Thanksgiving here in Stockholm with 3 Americans and 13 Swedes! It's our third annual and should be fun (but lots of work as I'm doing the turkey!)
