Makes this seem very real. Didn't realize Follistim needs to be refrigerated and I thought after reading these boards that I knew everything! Tomorrow I am meeting with the nurse who does the injection classes. Oh boy. DH hates needles and was freaking out about the trigger shot. No way can I show him the syringes or he'd probably pass out!

Some things I read said to refrigerate it, and some said it wasn't necessary. The Ovidrel (if you're taking that) definitely goes in the fridge. I thought the injections were really easy, as everyone said. Just a quick stab and you're done. Good luck!

The pharmacy told me to refigerate follistim - but then the nurse told us it doesn't really have to be refrigerated until after it is opened. But I am keeping mine in the fridge none the less.

I refridgerated my clear, fluid GOLD. I wasn't taking any chances with it.

I found the follistim easy and painless so to speak.

No help on the refrigeration..

good thing your DH doesn't have to get the shots...mine has gotten so used to his shot nights..he tries to make it seem like we are going up to have sex. He will say "Oh Honey, would you like to give me a shot in the Ass"...LOL in a total trying to be sexy voice..
