It's after midnight here so I'm going to celebrate this now... today is my 35/35 and I'm super excited and freaked out at the same time!
I can't wait to meet my little boy and I'm thrilled that we're getting so close- this is one of those milestones that I felt like I would never get to, but by the same token, I'm absolutely freaking out because it hasn't really sunk in that I am going to have a BABY in just a couple weeks. You would think that after over 8 1/2 months I would be able to wrap my mind around this, but I just can't believe that this is going to be happening soon...

Yay! I am looking forward to my 35/35 too! I just got to my 32 week/8 month mark and am feeling like all your faces! LOL!!!

Yes. And I wasn't trying to be mean or snarky...I just don't know why 35/35 is a big deal?
It's just another fun milestone! Don't you celebrate a bit when you hit 2nd tri and then "V-Day" and then 3rd Tri?
Hitting trimesters and v-day I understand. But I didn't know the significance of 35/35. The significance of trimesters is self explanatory- as is V-day. But I'm not sure what the milestone is related to 35/35...and I am dead serious. I just don't get it...it makes more sense to me to celebrate 37 weeks as a milestone because then you are technically full term.
Why is any milestone something to not celebrate?!

It's just a fun milestone. It doesn't have any kind of significance as far as the baby or the pregnancy except that you are that much closer to having little one and it's a fun little marker to look forward to!

Congratulations on 35/35! I for one celebrate practically everything, so I'm excited for you no matter what. Who cares if it's not a milestone to someone else, if you're excited about it, enjoy the day!
Btw, I might be a total moron but what is V-Day?
LOL... definitely not a stupid question! V-Day is Viability day (24 weeks) when the baby becomes theoretically viable outside of the womb. At that point, most doctors will do everything possible to save the baby, should he or she be born early.
