What size is your amber teething necklace?

I'm about to order one and Jack's asleep.  I know people use the same one on their kids for a long time, so their must be a somewhat standard sizing.  Thanks!

    I'm pretty sure we bought 12" when DS was about 4 mos. It still fits him well - actually, I think it has stretched out a bit (it has been on him 24/7 since then), and I will probably buy a new one soon.

    We got DS a 12". It's snug enough that he can't get it into his mouth, but long enough that's it's not choking him. If it gets too snug down the line, I'll order him a bigger one, but I'd rather buy two than have one way too long to begin with.
