ISO safe, inexpensive (like $100?) cribs

    Yeah, Graco Lauren and Sarah have drop sides but if you get them as "classic" they are listed to have no moving parts. We are going with the classic now because of all the drop side issues!! Ps if you get them from walmart they ship to your house for only 97 cents or free to the store!!

    This is exactly what we did -- Graco Lauren Classic, for $140 from Walmart, with 97-cent shipping.  And look how cute!

  • I have the Ikea Gulliver and LOVE IT.  It has modern lines, is great it you are on the shorter side and is really sturdy.  You can get the white for $99 and the birch for 139.  I've told others about it and they love it too.  I'm glad I didn't spend more money.

    ditto.  and, despite some rumors, ours holds a standard size crib mattress.
