Babies: 3 - 6 Months

I wish I could still wear my baby.

But he hurts my back.  He's 20 pounds and that's alot so I get NOTHING done around the house unless he's napping (Maybe 1 hour out of the whole day!) Le sigh.

  • Do you have a Moby?  I have pretty bad scoliosis and am still able to wear W with my Moby.  He's only 15 lbs, but still.

  • I still wear ds, near 20 lbs and all. We use the bjorn. I don't really have a choice b/c he hates the stroller so if we go shopping, the bjorn is my only option at this point.

No Moby here.  I feel like if I got one it'd be a waste of money now.  Ehh, I guess I'll just get no sleep so I can stay up after he's gone to bed to get things done.

  • I was going to say the Moby too. I love it and it doesn't hurt my back at all. Alex is probably about 18 pounds now.

Hmmm .. maybe it is worth the money then .. ?

If you like to wear him a lot, I would buy it. I don't normally wear A that often, but when I do, its awesome. And he just loves it. I think you can wear your LO until they reach 35 pounds too... so you'll have quite a while in it. Plus all the different ways to wear him, I think its worth it!

  • My DS is 3 mos and 16 lb and I'm doing OK with the Baby K'tan and the Ergo (sleeps in the K'tan, likes the Ergo for longer walks). I'm not saying my back doesn't protest a bit, but it actually hurts LESS with the K'tan than it does carrying him without it.

  • I think you can wear the Moby for a while, like a year or 2. I think the pictures show some older kids, as in 1 or 2.

I bought 5 yards of knit material and made my own and it cost me a whole whopping $11 from Hobby Lobby.

  • DS is 19 or so and I can wear him in my Moby an Ergo. Maybe try a different carrier.
