question/vent about u/s's

My dr says that my baby has cubby cheeks...lol.... BUT when my MIL seen the 3d us she says to my husband, "are you sure that is your baby, he looks like a black baby"... Surprise

OMFG.... R U SERIOUS... DID YOU JUST SAY THAT???? his nose was pressed again my placenta when they did the u/s so his nose was smushed.... MY husband swears she was playing/laughing when she said it. Why or what nerve does she have to even say stuff like that. We have 3 daughters already so when we found out that this one was a boy, she also said something along the lines of... Are you sure he's yours...you only make girls...then laughed...

UGH! she pushes my buttons

YOU ARE SUCH A B!TCH!

Anyone know how to say that in spanish, i'd really like to tell her.

That comment would most definitely get underneath my skin. In my opinion, all babies look the same in ultrasounds.. so how can she tell what a "black baby" looks like just by the U/S pictures? :-|

I'd have to say she's pretty nasty for sayin crap like that. Joking or not, that is NOT funny. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. If you look at the u/s pic in my siggy my LO's nose is squished too. I'd be pissed too if I was you. Some people just do not have that "common sense" filter at all.

She sounds like an idiot.

My sister had an u/s pic of her daughter pushing her face up againts the side of her uterus and her face was smashed. It was the cutest thing ever.

Sounds like something my FIL would say, so I know how you feel.

When he asked if one of us would be getting "fixed" after this baby, we said yes. Then he told DH "Well it should be you, that way you can tell if she's cheating on you" implying that I would cheat and get knocked up by someone else. I wanted to punch him.

First of all it's "saw" not "seen". Sorry. That one gets under MY skin!.

And, your MIL sounds like a racist b!tch. I'd be pissed if anyone said anything remotely similar to me.
