We're going to my Aunt's house. I'm bringing green bean casserole, deviled eggs (mine are sweet), and Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake. PM me if you would like the recipe for any.
We've already had one dinner (we have 3 to go to) and I made a pumpkin cheesecake, corn pudding (it's a casserole for those who don't know and may think it's really a pudding, lol) and broccoli casserole.
I am making a sweet potato dish to bring to my mom's (she's doing all the major cooking this year). I got the recipe from MIL and haven't made it before so hopefully it will be good!
1 can sweet potatoes
1/2 stick butter
Splash or 2 of milk
Raisins
Pecans (halved)
Jumbo marshmallows
Drain can of sweet potatoes and add butter. Pop in the microwave until butter melts. Add a splash or two of milk and beat with hand mixer until sweet potatoes are the consistancy of mashed potatoes. Stir in raisins and pecans. Top with jumbo marshmallows (MIL says she stands them up and sticks them about halfway in the sweet potatoes. Top each marshmallow with a halved pecan. Bake in a 325 degree oven until marshmallows are browned.
I may add some cinnamon and nutmeg to give it a little extra flavor, but it's not called for in the original recipe.
I'm making Katy's Gooey Pumpkin Butter cake. My MIL tried it and almost fell off her chair. She has the whole family anxiously awaiting it on Thursday lol.
I'm also bringing cranberry wine from a winery a few minutes away from me.

Squash and apple soup, I posted the recipe a week or so ago.
