Crib Skirts

I just realized I don't have one, but it doesn't really look that bad.  Anyone else not using them, any PIPs?  Can you buy a solid one without buying a whole crib set (Bumper, sheets, quilt, etc.)?

    I was just at Target yesterday and they had some individually packaged as a part of some mix and match lines.

    If you don't think you need it, don't worry about it. My bedding doesn't come with one and I'm going to see how it looks on the crib before getting one.

    Yeah, I think it looks fine without, unless I decide to store anything under the crib that I want hidden.  I also thought I could wait til we find out the gender and then see if we take our nursery colors in another direction, currently it's pretty neutral.  But honestly, I might not use one at all.

    WHen the mattress is on the highest setting you can barely see it through the crib slats anyway - so I say you are fine without. Both Target and BRU sell crib skirts separately from sets for later on if you want to get it.

    When our mattress is at the highest setting you see the metal bars that hold up the mattress.  So I decided I needed one, but my set was sold out of the skirt (figures) so instead I bought the matching curtain panel and just laid it down underneath the mattress to hang off the sides all the way to the floor and it looks just like a crib skirt.  You could do this with any sheet/curtain panel/long piece of material.

    You can buy a solid one from www.babybedding.com I just bought one from them and the quality is good.

    Most places will sell some individual crib skirts - usually basic soft baby colors - pink, blue, beige, yellow, sage green. BRU, Target, BBB all have some
