Anyone pop a stitch!?

i had surgery friday so i have stitches where i ripped in labor and i was just sitting on the toilet and i felt it pop then i started gushing blood omg it hurts!!!! im goin to the doctor at 2. my question is what did the doctor do? re stitch? did they numb you up? tia!

    i didn't realize that is what happened when i popped my stitches.  they can restitch and i'm pretty sure they give you a local.

    i know it probably hurts to get restitched, but if i had known, i would have gotten it done while i was still recovering.
