Convertible Car Seat Question

So DD is about ready for a convertible car seat.  She is really tall and her feet are going to be hanging off the end of her seat any day now.  I think I remember hearing in the past that there was a link to a thread on 6-12 about car seat recs?  Does anyone have this?  Also, which one are you thinking of getting?

    I havea friend who is a mom and a car seat inspector and she used the Britax Marathon so that is what we are going with.  Just FYI it is ok for LO feet to hang off the end.  It is the weight limit on the seat and the room in the head that matters.  As long as LO has 1 1/2 inches from her head to the top of the seat and is below the weight limit she can stay in the infant seat.  Never hurts to plan ahead though.

    A lot of people go with a Britax one, I know that.  I have a smaller two door car and got a Maxi Cosi Priori because it is a bit smaller but still has a good safety rating.

    my dd is very long also at two months she was 24.5 inches, and I measured her at three months and she is almost 26 inches.  I am thinking of getting a Britax advocate or a boulevard.  Their strap heights go the highest of basically any I have ever seen, and they also go to 49 inches.  Plus I like the safety features of them.  They are very pricey...but I think safety and her being comfortable are important so three hundred and something dollars doesn't really matter to me.

    DD uses the Evenflo Triumph Advanced and I love it!
