I love doing dumb things!

I tried to convince DH that it was free if I pretend to lose my drivers license and get a new one, since I just have the sticker on my license with our new address. It's our first home, and I want my address actually ON my driver's license! He didn't believe me, so I then told him it was only $10.

He cracked up! He said, "You just said it was free! Now it's $10. Which is it?"

I'm dumb. The truth is, I've never had to pay before (the 2 times I really did lose my drivers license). But I've heard it costs $10.

All of this was going on while we were in line at the Secretary of State yesterday. It was silent, but we were cracking up and people thought we were crazy. LOL!

     We used to make a game out of trying to convince each other of weird, outlandish things. It's so fun, but doesn't work very often!

    I once convinced DH that the state of Michigan was repainting ALL of the lines on the road to be solid yellow because drivers were getting confused. I forgot to tell him I was lying until I caught him telling a friend about it! Oops.

    I also convinced him that people who steal pets/animals were going to be charged with actual kidnapping felonies because people love their animals like children, so it was the same thing in the eyes of the law. Same result as above! My DH is SO gullible.
