weening off breastfeeding...

anyone have any tips to help dry up?  i know it can be painful...this is my third baby.

    That is such a miserable time!!!!  I don't remember it being that painful, I just hated the fullness feeling!!

    I just tried to limit my pumping/feeding times until eventually everything was dry and gone.  I think that it took me a good 2 weeks or even longer.

    I was also told to take an ace bandage and wrap really tight around you w/o pumping and wear it all day and night.

    You can put cabbage leaves on your breasts.  I didn't BF with my first and that is what the hospital told me to do.  It worked pretty fast.
