"The baby will be here in God's timing" or "The baby will come when s/he is ready." Well, duh, yes I know that, but I'm ready now, and those comments irritate me more than help me. They are not at all helpful or comforting. Not when there's constant pressure and on and off contractions and everything hurts. I am ready for it to be time.

Re: Most annoying comment lately
ooohh! I hate HATE HATE this! My IL's are constantly telling me how time has flown by..I sure as hell don't feel like it!!!
And I hate it when previous moms all say "I loved being pregnant!" Yes, I'm sure that when you look back on it now, everything was just fine and dandy...but that was how many years ago?!? My MIL has no sympathy because she "loved" being pregnant, and never had any complaints...must be so nice to forget everything you went through 30 years ago!
Hopefully no NICU baby for you this time! I hate when people are standing right there talking to you and they say "You haven't had that baby yet?" With my last one I started answering with "Well, we did, but he wasn't cute enough so we shoved him back in to cook a little longer." Stupid question gets a stupid answer.
Baby #2 EDD 1.15.14
The one that is irritating me the most lately is from our receptionist EVERY morning, "You look SO tired."
Ya think??? I get to work at 7am after an hour long commute and no sleep from heartburn because this baby won't drop. Thanks for pointing that out to me. Sorry I'm not perky and chipper to be at work anymore. But if you are really going to point this out to me EVERY day for the next 20 days, I might have to throat punch you.
Vent over.
Awesome! Love it!!
LOVE this answer, I may start using it! People are driving me crazy!
This is my third child and I can honestly say, I have NEVER loved being pg. There are parts of it that are great- like feeling the baby move, but overall I'm not a huge fan of the process. I just like the end result. I
I've been getting the head tilt. KWIM?? ::head tilt, sing-songy voice:: "how are you feeling?"
I don't love being pregnant. I appreciated it more this time, and tried to enjoy it more, but I don't love it like some people do. I'm horribly grumpy when pregnant and I hate that people lose all sense of respect around pregnant women.
I hate that one too. I just wish people would leave me alone. And unfortunately, my MIL is the worst. DH has told her time and time again not to ask that and she does it anyway.
I'm still working past my due date and starting last week everyone's greeting is "you're still here?" Yes, I am as you can plainly see. At least tomrrow is my last day of work, I am not coming back here next week if I am still waiting at 41 weeks. I don't think I could take much more.
It also bugs me when people keep saying "oh, I was 10 days late with my first one". that is not all that encouraging either.
OMG, this exactly! Hate it.
the most annoying thing for me is that, it is painfully obvious that my face is filling out. i know it is. i see it in pictures and when i look in the mirror so it bugs be to no end when someone looks me straight in the eye and says, NO WAY! Your face is SO not getting fat....
Um...yes it is people! lol
I can relate to that...I'm also sick of hearing "You're still here?!?" and "You haven't had that baby yet?!" when I come in to work.
I'm still annoyed with the "how's Baby C today."
Really? How do you think he is? INSIDE. That question has annoyed me since I announced being pg. Mostly because there is no real appropriate answer.
