If your DH is sick...

...how the hell do you keep them away from LO?  Or do I need to really worry about that since she is breastfed? 

DH is coming down with a cold (in the summer...WTF?) and I really don't want LO to catch it.  But I also want him to be able to play and bond with her, as well as give me a bit of rest time in the evenings like usual. 

Should I just tell him to steer clear until he's all better?  Or just to wash his hands before he holds her?  WWYD?

    My Dr said to just wash before touching the baby and not to kiss his hands or face if we got sick. Otherwise he said to act normal..

    My DH is coming down with a cold, too. I'm having him wash his hands before touching/playing with Zack, but otherwise I don't think there's anything we can do, really.

    BF will not prevent your LO from getting sick.

    Have your DH wash up and change his clothes before touching her. That should help.
