My first because my mom said she really liked it and my middle because my grandfather thought it would be nice to have all his grandaughters with the same middle name (Anne).
If i was a boy my name was sealed. so if i came out a girl they wanted a name that no one in my family had. so both my first and middle names are totally random
if i had been a boy i would have been 4th generation robert. but my little brother got that one. lol.

My first name is after my dad's grandma, who he was very close to but died shortly before i was born. and my middle name is a family name, it is my grandma's and my mom's middle name, and will be daughter's middle name as well.
We are trying to give our kids names with family meaning behind them as well, because i have always really loved the fact that i am named after people who made a difference in my parent's lives
