BFP
Yeah, I am a bit flipped out. We had unprotected sex once damn it. I realize it is completely our fault but come on. Who wants to find out because they are traveling for business so ill they think they have swine flu until they realize their period is late. No to mention finding alone in a hotel room and having to call DH who was thrilled but I am about to have a nervous breakdown.
The time is wrong for work, for the renovations on the house, I wanted DD to be a bit older before having a sibling, and about pretty much everything else. I know we are blessed not to have any fertility problems and no other pressing issues which makes me feel even more like a jerk but it wasn't in the plan to start trying until at least four months from now and I have no idea how to swing this with everything that is planned in the next year.
Not mention I feel like a moron for all of the sushi, cheeses, raw meat, and wine I have had in the past two weeks. Plus the lack of folic acid and too many missed meals due to long nights in the office.
I guess that BFP was more of a vent, flame away.

No flames from me. I wouldn't exactly be thrilled if I got KU right now either. You'll feel better about it soon... you're just in the initial shock of it right now. At least your H is excited about it though.

You'll be ok! Stop stressing, work will be understanding, the house will get done, and your baby is fine even if you ate sushi and amazing French cheeses. :-)

I'm not going to flame but just say this- my husband and I spent years trying to get pregnant and, after over $20,000 and loads of heartache, we never were successful. We are blessed beyond belief with the adoption of our son.
I don't know that timing is never perfect but I'm sure you'll start to get excited like your hubby soon! Congrats!
