When does the baby turn?

The dr said that he thinks the baby is breech.  I'm 31 weeks - he said there is time to turn.  I have a U/S in 2 weeks - so I guess I'll see then.  It explains the kicking in my hips and bladder and pelvis - it hurts to sit when he kicks me!

    They wont be worried unless he hasn't turned but 36 weeks! My little girl was a late turner probably didn't turn till around 33+weeks! I didn't know for sure untill I constantly felt her hiccup by my bladder.

    My LO turned head down at about 33 weeks. I thought the movement had changed and the dr confirmed at my visit that the baby was head down.

    Thanks - I don't think I ever paid attention - DS #1 was always head down - I just remember those rib kicks and haven't felt them yet!

    My baby was breech around 31 weeks...then my next visit was head down....my last visit was at 34 weeks and baby was breech again....so really anything can happen...I am having a sched c-sec so no worries here!! I am sure your baby will flip in time!!!

    My girlfriend's baby only turned head down 2 days before her scheduled c-section at 38 weeks! Anything can happen!

    Mine has been head down for about 4 weeks now, I think. My last two midwife appointments.

    LO has been head down for over three weeks now..he has made him comfortable and isn't budging..he still moves around and he "stretches" alot but he ready..my doc said babies on the inside are just like babies on the outside..the find a comfortable position and stick to it

    I had a breech baby confirmed by u/s at 29 weeks, and she has turned for my 33 week!

    I just had a dr.appt yesterday and asked if he could tell where the baby is. He said that he didn't want to push around too much to find out at this point- but he asked where i feel a lot of movement- which is in my right side, lots and lots of stuff going on over there.  Then when they heard the heartbeat realllllllly loud on the left side, he is estimating that the baby is head down, with his spine on the left and limbs on the right.  But then he said, it's still early enough that he could roll over again many times.  He said they won't worry until atleast my next appt in 2 weeks to figure it out, probably not even until the 34 week appt.
