DS's daycare has all kind of plastic, electronic toys. I tend to poo-poo them, but he really likes some of them. One is a contraption that shoots balls out of the top, then they roll down a ramp and shoot out again. When I visit on my lunch break it's fun to watch him anticipate the balls coming out as soon as he hears the thing turn on, and then grab them and try to put them back in the hole.
Our home is very simple where toys are concerned. In fact, most of his "toys" are kitchen and other household items. We got him a beautiful handmade wooden stacking ring toy for his birthday next month but I'm thinking it might be good to get some cause-and-effect toys as well. Anyone know of any wooden/cloth ones? Thanks!
Re: Non-plastic cause-and-effect toys?
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!
Thanks for asking! I have been wondering the same thing. We gave in and bought some plastic ones b/c she just likes them soooo much, but I'm going to check these out!
We did get a tin spinning top. She obviously can't operate it herself, but she loves watching it.
LOL!
