I used my first Ovidrel injection last month and i don't really think I had any pg symptoms from it. I was taking progesterone suppositories and I think they caused more symptoms then the Ovidrel. I was bloated, my boobs increased in size and my boobs were a little sore after O.
Not taking progesterone. When/why do they prescribe that?
I had the ovidrel shot Friday then iui Saturday. Starting today I have this annoyingly full sensation in my lower abdomen and am slightly bloated. I feel quite sluggish and am really in a biatchy mood.
Oh CC....you didn't take them to see a positive lol? I was tempted to, but I just don't want to tease myself that way.
I'm getting my trigger shot tomorrow and I'm already bloaty and full feeling today...sounds like this will only get better -- great, something to look forward to

good luck! did i mention my ass has been charleyhorsed ever since lol!
Thanks for asking. No chart for me this cycle...I decided to take a charting break. I'm fine, waiting to test on Thursday. No symptoms at all, other than those caused by the progesterone, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Well, I just couldn't resist
Now that you mention it - I was bloated after O. My Dr. told me though that it was b/c of the Clomid, I had lots of little follicles in there that didn't release but were bigger than they would be on unmedicated cycles, so causing the bloat

YES! Cannot wait!
When do you go back to see how the IUI went?
December 7th. I'm going to go insane by then!!!! I hate being in limbo. I don't know whether to feel over the moon or under a rock
Not taking progesterone. When/why do they prescribe that?
I go in at 7DPO and they test my progesterone level. If it is below 15 they prescribe progesterone (suppositories...yuck). It is not always necessary.
Interesting. My RE told me not to come back until my beta.
It is not something that is often necessary before the beta, especially on clomid. They will test your progesterone at your beta and if you need more they will give it to you. They were cautious with me because I had low progesterone on other cycles.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you should not worry about this at all.

GL with the IUI July! Very exciting
Thank you! We only got one follie from the Clomid so I don't think the bloating is from that. I also have alot of cm. I hate feeling so leaky!

Oh gosh, I can only imagine! I'll be there soon -- IUI on Wed -- so we can stress out together. My Dr. said the IUI would be just like a normal exam pretty much -- so it doesn't hurt at all really, right?

I'm sure all dr's have their own reason for putting pt's on Progesterone but my RE told me that it can't hurt and help your lining. Which is why i'm on it. I'm not taking it this cycle though b/c I hate the bloating and it is so gross! Very messy. So we'll see what happens.
My boobs were pretty heavy from 4-9 DPO, but that could just have been normal 2 WW symptoms.
One word of advice though: drink lots of water for the first 48 hours after trigger. Ovulation pain can get pretty intense (it did for me), but the water helped tremendously.

Maybe that's why. The RE said my lining is absolutely beautiful. At least I have one good thing going on.

Hey you! I am doing all right. I go in on Wednesday for a CD 11 follie check, and will probably be instructed to trigger over the holiday. Trying to stay hopeful, but sometimes it's hard.
I am excited that you are about to trigger! Good luck!

Actually I triggered on Friday. I went in for a day 10 check and the RE said I was ready (with only 1 follie though which I found disappointing). The iui was on Saturday. Now I'm going insane waiting for 12/7 to get here so I can have an answer!

Suppositories are nasty.
I can't understand how any of the medication gets into your body b/c it seem to be all over my panty liner instead! Good luck this cycle!
Oh and I tested out my trigger injection with IC's just because I love to pee on stuff and it was kinda fun to see a BFP. Even if it was fake!

#1: Yay and GL!! I hope you get very good news from a pee stick/blood draw soon.
#2: I was really tired the entire day after the HCG shot, and had lots of bloating and constipation that entire week after the shot/IUI. And that pretty much continued through the bfp. I didn't have cramps with the shot, but I had moderate to severe cramping after the IUI.

Yeah...my bowels are definitely not acting normal. It's like constipation or diarrhea. Grrr. How are you doing?
The trigger gave me a total mind fvck last month. Crazy tender nips, thick cm, bloating like crazy and I even puked up my PNV's 7 DPO but as the closer I got to 14 DPOs the more the symptoms faded. GL to you!
