baby aspirin during IVF?

When we met with our RE back in October, he had mentioned something about using baby aspirin during our next cycle.  When we went for our FET planning meeting, he was not there due to a family emergency so we had to meet with the nurse practitioner instead.  And we just forgot to ask about the baby aspirin.  I just talked to my nurse and she said if I get a positive pregnancy test than I can start taking baby aspirin, but I could have sworn that my RE said I would take it throughout the cycle.  So if you take baby aspirin, at what point in your cycle did you start it?

    I haven't done IVF at this point, but I do take baby aspirin.  I started it a while back before my 3rd m/c.  Sooner the better, I think, but I don't know IVF protocol either.

    I started mine the day I started the BCP. 
    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     i started mine 5 days ago, 2 days before starting lupron.
    Dx: MFI, DOR, 9 Fibroids and homozygous MTHFR

    I started mine the day of transfer. Make sure you check if you take it before then, because it thins your blood and they'll need to know when they do the retrieval.  I'm doing IUIs now and I take them all the time, through the whole cycle.  Just one a day.

    My RE had me doing it starting the day after ER
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    I started taking it when I started stims.

    I would definitely check with your Dr. before you start taking it, but it's worth asking about.

    My RE said to do it right away with a prescription prenatal vitamin because studies have shown that it helps with implantation as far as making the lining better for implantation.  It won't hurt to take it so why not do it if it might help?

    I am supposed to start mine the day I start my Lupron which is this Wednesday.

    I have already been dx with MTHFR and Factor V so I take one every day.

    Hi Kiki..I'm having the same debate. Will you keep me posted if you ask your RE on what they say? I think I'm starting stims this week, so I really need to decide quick!

    My RE recommends it starting the day after ER (so before ET).  BA is a blood thinner so it increases your risk of internal bleeding during the ER.  It also takes more than a week to leave your system, so you couldn't just stop it the night before ER.  But check with your doctor - they all have different protocols.
