  Bring some saline and a nose sucker onto the plane.  Also, Children's Benadryl or Children's Zyrtec can help relieve the congestion too. Also, tonight, try to give her a warm vapor bath (johnson and johnson has the no tears one) and then after the bath, suck out her nose as much as possible.

  Vick's Vapor Rub on her feet, slather them up and then put socks on. For some odd reason it works and is easier than trying to rub it on her chest.

  Ditto the saline and nose suction thing.  Also use a cool air humidier tonight.  It will make her nose run even more...but that's a good thing.  You want to get all of the "gunk" out. 

  I'm so sorry she's not feeling well.  I hope she feels better soon and gets through the plane ride okay.

  We do this too.

  The vapor bath, the vapor on the feet, the humidfier, the saline mist in her nose (poor thing).
