I really wanted Maisy for a girl, but we agreed that DH got to pick the girl's name. If we had a boy, I would have got to use my choice, which was Henry.
DD was going to be Bella, we changed our minds about a week after finding out we were having a girl and the name no longer seemed to "fit". I stumbled across Harper on a blog, showed it to DH and saw his face light up (he wasn't in love with the name Bella like I was) and she was Harper from then on out.
Our top two choices for a long time were Connor and Andrew. DH said Ethan one day, and that was it! Good thing because DS looks nothing like a Connor or Andrew, even though I still love the names. Maybe if we have another son...

DH's pick for her name was Anna Rose. I liked it, but didn't think it had the same "omph" as Madeline did. If we have another girl though, Anna will probably be her first name.

up until my 39th week, she was going to be either jolie, ivy, or iris. but that last week, i decided she would either be murphy marguerite, ivy marguerite or marguerite belle (maggie belle). it still took me 4 hours after she was born to decide, and i'm totally happy with my choice.
Cailin from an old Unwritten Law song. But Taelin, Raelin, Jaelynn are all becoming very popular in our area so once DH and I saw DD on the U/S we knew Cailin wasn't for her.
Griffin was almost a Drake - it was between the 2.
The twins were always Grayson and Gibson - we never thought about others. If they were girls one would have been Gwendolyn - but we never came up with a 2nd girl name.
Sadie was the only named that we could both agree on. Her middle name was going to be Taylor until 2 weeks before she was born I convinced my DH that Jo goes better. The only reason he said ok was because they have the same initials now! lol

I had my mind set on Ava for a long time. Then my brother started dating an Asa, and I really do not care for her at all. I thought it was too similar.
Benjamin was always going to be one of them. Eli could have been Samuel or William. Once we decided on Eli, then we had to decide whether he would be just Eli or Elijah. We figured since we were going to call him Eli, he'd be Eli.
Re: s/o baby names
Xavier.
Oliver Thomas. DH didn't like it though. His name is Nolan Charles. I still think he looks like an Oliver.
DS#1 was always going to be a Henry and it soooooo suits him.
The only other name I thought of was for a girl... Hannah.
But for a boy, it was always Aaron?after my late paternal grandfather.

Anna
I wanted Jaylin, but DH didnt like it.
DH wanted to name him Cecil. I would have been okay with that, but I think I would have ended up calling him by his middle name had we used it.
I wanted to name him Lucius to begin with, but DH staunchly refused. Spoilsport.

We had nailed down the names Brenna and Kaitlyn during pregnancy. A few weeks after we decided on each I'd start second-guessing.
