Is it safe for DD to wear a necklace all the time?

She is totally into jewerly right now so we're getting her a jewerly box and a couple of items for Christmas. If I get her a nicer necklace is it ok to wear all the time? DD wears a necklace all the time. She's fine with it. I guess it just depends on the kid.

Not sure how old she is. My DD is 2 so I take it off when she naps or sleeps at night.

If you're confident that she won't yank it off and swallow it, it should be fine.

I wouldn't let her sleep in it, but at 4 I would think it would be fine. She should know not to put it in her mouth and you would think that it would break if caught on something before it could strangle her? It's not titanium is it?
