When should your milk come in

I had my daughter last Monday and my milk still has not come in.  I have been pumping but i'm wondering if I should just give it up.

    Mine came in on day 4. Don't give up!! Call the LC at the hospital you gave birth at or call your LO's pedi and see if they have an LC! I love breastfeeding.

    4-7 days is average.

    I'd call an LC and see if they can help you out.

    Mine came in on day 3 if I remember correctly.

    Mine came in on day 4 or 5.  I know how much it sucks to pump and get nothing!  I started pumping when DS was about 12 hours old.  I haven't looked back though.  I EP and LOVE it!

    My milk didn't come in until late day 7, so hang in there. talk to your pedi before you stop if you get to that point.

    Also, pumping is really hard in the beginning.  It doesn't produce as much milk as you might be making.  If you are nursing and your LO seems full and happy after a feeding, then something is coming out.
