If you use too much detergent once..

will it do anything? DH just went to help and put in an entire lid full of the purex instead of halfway to the 1st line.

I didnt get to him in time to remind him, grrrr

Re: If you use too much detergent once..

  • Maybe just wash an extra time without any soap?
  • Loading the player...
  • I would do the entire load again with no soap at all - and also add some vinegar to the water (1/2 a cup) - helps rinse away leftover soap, softens clothes, and is very safe for baby (and you!)  I use it in every load - I also double rinse Jack's clothes every time we wash because I am spastic about getting all of the soap out.
    Wheee!

  • I rewash without any detergent.  DS has eczema though so we are really careful.
  • Just do an extra rinse cycle?
  • I would do an extra rinse or two.
