  • I voted other. I would probably eat more ham, but we never have it on Thanksgiving (perhaps I should rethink this, no?). I eat like a tiny piece of turkey. I prefer all of the side dishes, but I love having turkey salad after Thanksgiving... Complicated I know.
  • We love and always make a pernil..
  • I love ham but I feel that I should eat turkey on Thanksgiving. Usually I make turkey and ham for Thanksgiving and a roast and ham for X-mas. That way I get my ham.

  • Well, I keep kosher, so although I used to eat (and love!) ham, I'll be having turkey.

  • I prefer turkey for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We do ham for Easter. However, if I am the one cooking, it's ham because I can do it in my slow cooker..mmmmm...

DH's family likes to to prime rib for Christmas. To me, it's just not Christmas food, though. Oh well. If I'm not the one cooking, I guess I can't complain haha!

  • I voted for ham because I think turkey can be dry.  If the turkey is moist I like it.  For christmas we used to eat lasgna because my mom's side of the family is Italian.  Now my dad deep fries a turkey on christams.  I like that version better because it is more moist.  However I love me some honey ham :-)

I knew someone would ask her this.  Pernil is a Spanish word...it's pork.  We always have this too for any occasion.  Pernil is 1st and turkey is 2nd in my book.
