Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Trixie, are they sleeping better?

On the weekends it all goes down hill for us.  Maybe because they are out of their daycare routine? DH is home this week and said he'd get night time craziness but they were up every 90 minutes so I still got up 2x and woke every time they did.

I never get a night off.

Girl, I don't even want to discuss the catastrophe that was this weekend. Friday night was a DREAM. We had magical pjs. L did this "ahhhh" when we put them on. He then feel asleep for the first time on his own and without a paci. A has always been the easy one to get to sleep.

Well, then it was allll down hill. I totally agree about the routine being the issue. When we don't get up and leave at 7:15 like usual it throws them all out of wack from the get-go. Sat night both of them refused to be put down. They would be dead asleep and as soon as their head hit the bed, they were WIDE awake. We did this up, down, up, down until 2AM! So then, of course, they are super crabby all day Sunday because they didn't get good sleep. And, Sunday night we started our routine at 6:30 and they didn't get good and asleep until 11. Thank GOODNESS only A got up once and L slept through the night. But WOW, we have got to figure something out for the weekends. It is a nightmare.

Please let me know where you buy said pjs.  I'd be very interested in about 50 pairs!

  • I have those, plus 3 other pairs just like them.  They work no magic in my house, Crying  DH calls them their 'plush suits' which I think is hysterical.

LOL Well obviously the "magic" wore off after one night. I guess it was just the new-ness of them. :(

  • Gah.

Prunes were not magical.  And somehow they worked in reverse and constipated the heck out of J.  I don't get it.

We have a few pairs of pjs like those.  I've never used them because I thought they might get too warm.  Eli especially.  That kid is a space heater!

Might have to give those a try.  I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

This was our first time too for the same reason. A gets super hot. We had to turn the heater down for sure.
