how much advanced notice of ET?

So, when the fert ctr called yesterday with my fert report, they said they'd be watching closely and I'd probably have a 3 day transfer on Tuesday.  Do you think they'll call me today?? I know originally they said my ER would be Sat, fert report on Sun, and then embryologist report on Tues...but how do I know if I take off work or not?  Did you get much advanced notice?

I'm just hoping to God we have embies to transfer, since I only had 2 fertilize.

    I was told the day before because of only 1 egg fertilizing, it turned into a 2 day transfer.

    WIth my clinics (I did IVF through 2 different ones) I would just get a report on the day after ER, then planned on a 3 day transfer. If something was to change, I would get a call the morning of the tenative transfer date and be moved to another date.

    So I would take Tuesday off. If anything should change, you can tell your employer that they needed to reschedule your medical procedure for a future date.

    I had a 5 day, and they called really late on Day 2 to set it up. I think they like to wait as long as possible on Day 2 if things are progressing nicely on whether it will be a Day 3 or Day 5.

    Thanks ladies. I just caved and called them.  :)

    She said plan on tomorrow morning at 8:30, but she will call me this afternoon to confirm!!!  My heart is beating like crazy!!!

    I usually have a general sense...I do PGD so know it's not going to be before 3 days...after that though, I've ranged from 4, 5 to 6 days.  Usually, they tell me they're generally thinking x days around the 2 day mark but they don't confirm until the day before ET when they call me to tell me what time to come.
