  • I only make pies. Thats my forte. But my aunt makes this awesome corn pudding that I love. I wish I had the recipe, so I could share it. I look forward to it EVERY year... and the year I am pregnant - she's not coming!!!

  • Cranberry Waldorf Salad - I love it. We have to have it every year.
  • Very traditional. Green Bean Casserole and Sweet Potatoes with marshmellows.
  • Sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, broccoli rice casserole, dressing, and "pink stuff".  Oh, and pecan pie of course (because that's MY fav!)
  • All of the above! And I love jello casserole with cool whip.

  • stuffing, cranberry-apple-orange sauce, mashed potatoes, cider giblet gravy, corn & poblano pudding, green beans with bacon & shallots, and salad with manchego, pepitas & pears. Oh, and biscuits.
  • Here's an easy and tasty one...just wait till you as close before dinner as you can.

2 apples, cut into chunks, with the skin.....2 snicker bars cut into chunks...2 containers of cool whip.

    Mix together and enjoy!

  • I'm usually in charge of mashed potatoes.  I use an actual recipe for it though -- not just mashing potatoes and adding milk.  I like escalloped (scalloped??) corn - that's pretty yummy.

This year we're having Thanksgiving dinner at a hotel buffet thing.  DH and his dad are out of town....so we're all doing this instead.  Hopefully it has my favorite basics!

  • i'm in charge of baking bread.  just cranberry-orange bread and pumpkin bread...nothing fancy.  i'll make enough loaves to have with t-giving dinner and breakfast the next day.  family tradition.
