C was 10lb13oz at his Dr's appointment this past Wednesday. He's currently wearing Pampers Swaddlers in size 1, but has been leaking out of them since yesterday. It seems to early to make the move to size 2 (size 1 go up to 14 pounds), but I can't think of any other reason for the diapers to leak. Any advice? And yes- I make sure his penis is pointed down!

Momma Maven In The Making!
yep.. we're headed that way. DD is already a little over 11 lbs and the Pampers 1s leak at night, so we're using 1-2s at night. She just had a poop blowout in the size 1s and w/ DD1 that always meant it was time for the next size up.
From my experience w/ DD1, we would always switch to the next size about 1-2 lbs below the recommendation on the smaller size. For now, we'll finish up the box of 1-2s and use 2s at night, and then just completely switch to size 2. I can't believe we're already at that point!!

I would definitely recommend moving up to a size 2. I work for Pampers in Consumer Care and I'm also a mom who loves coming to this site often for advice. I wanted to let you know that the Swaddlers have overlapping fasteners. So even if they look like they'll be too big for your little one, you'll still be able to get that snug fit. Thanks. Pattie.
