Awakened by contractions

I woke up about an hour ago with period-like cramps that came and went; about 5 in the space of 20 minutes.  After changing positions they went away for the most part.  I posted the other day about uncomfortable BH during the day.  These were the first that actually resembled actual labor pains that I remember from DS #1.  Guess I'll call my doc in the morning and see what she says.  In the meantime, I'm downing water and wishing DH wasn't out of town!

::yawn::  I'm never up at this time!  What's crack-a-lackin', ladies?

    Wake up??  I'm still getting ready for bed!

    I occasionally get minor cramps, would those be considered BHC?

    I'm what you call a "morning person."  I'm in bed by 8:30 and up by 5:45.  I don't remember the last time I saw 2:15am!

    You'd have to ask your doc about your cramps.  From what I know, occasional cramps are part of the normal pregnancy routine.  They become cause for concern if they''re accompanied by tightening of your belly and if they are also cyclical, occuring regularly in an hour.  Again, this is just from what I've read and been told by my doc's nurse.

    I was a morning person until I got pregnant.  Instead of fatigue I got horrid insomnia.  I'm now up until about 1a (also due to working until 11p) and I can't get my ass out of bed until at least 9a.
