I don't get on here long so I'm not sure if this has been posted but I came across a pattern to make your winter coat fit over your back baby.  Even if not this woman's blog it SO good! peaceful parenting

    those are great! just today, DH and i were wondering what you'd do in a really cold climate when out + about with the kiddo. we don't get serious cold all that often, but you still want to be able to take a walk in the winter.

    That's really neat! I actually bought myself a babywearing jacket but if I had any sort of sewing talent, that would have been a really cool project.
